We wanted to help Bavaria start to grow their social presence, so we created the "Taste Independence" campaign. This told the story of Bavaria's history of independent brewing in a fun and engaging way.
Bavaria have been independently brewing beer for more than 300 years. We wanted to celebrate this by looking back at the year they started - 1719. Because, although the beer from 300 years ago is worth keeping hold of, is the same true of of other things? Say, the fashions?
The Taste Independence campaign reached millions of people with limited spend. It also helped to grow the relationship between Bavaria UK and the supermarkets. Seeing the high level of activity gave them faith that the brand was prepared to invest in the future.
