The sunglasses really follow you round the room
Objective
To help give the "Taste Independence" campaign longevity, we created the Art series. These consisted of animated films using characters that we had created. To do this, we arranged a photoshoot with actors in 18th century costume and then had oil paintings commissioned of them in the style of the Dutch Masters. These were then animated in Blender 3D and in 2D with After Effects.

Idea
Bavaria have been independently brewing beer for more than 300 years. We wanted to celebrate this by looking back at the year they started - 1719. Because, although the beer from 300 years ago is worth keeping hold of, is the same true of of other things? Say, the fashions?

Impact
The Taste Independence campaign reached millions of people with limited spend. It also helped to grow the relationship between Bavaria UK and the supermarkets. Seeing the high level of activity gave them faith that the brand was prepared to invest in the future.
