This branding and packaging was originally part of a process for a major British brewer looking to give a well loved regional ale a face lift. Although they chose not to take up this direction we have used it as a test bed for further thoughts on how to give old brands in brewing more of a shot in the craft dominated market.
The brand is based in Oxford, so we decided that providence was key in the future direction. We incorporated the Bulls head symbol of Oxford and the place names to evoke strong regional connections.
